Metro ASE - Key Accountabilities - Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is composed of the officers of the organization: the President; Vice President; Treasurer; and Secretary. The purpose of the Executive Committee is to conduct the business of the organization:
- Arrange for a minimum of four meetings per year
- Ensure elections held as necessary
- Foster professionalism of members
- Offer programs to support members in their roles as Executive Director/ Administrator
- Develop and grow membership
- Administer member funds
Key Accountabilities
President:
*Time Commitment: 4 – 12 hours/month
- Ensure the purposes are fulfilled with excellence
- Provide leadership and coordination for the executive committee
- Build involvement of members in the conduct of Metro ASE programs
- Foster relationships with other relevant organizations
- Represent Metro ASE at local and national meetings
- Ensure member funds are well managed
Vice President:
*Time Commitment: 2 – 6 hours/month
- Support the president in the above activities
- Attend executive committee and member meetings
- Coordinate Programming for member meetings
- Special projects as assigned
Treasurer:
*Time Commitment: 2 – 6 hours/month
- Attend executive committee and member meetings
- Track membership, dues, and all other income and expenses
- Grow membership – initiate outreach
- Provide member data for inclusion on web site
Secretary:
*Time Commitment: 2 – 6 hours/month
- Attend executive committee and member meetings
- Take minutes of member meetings
- Communicate with membership regularly – through website, social networking and email
- Assist in coordination of member meetings
* Plus time to attend Metro ASE programs and meetings
